WINES

RIOJA ALAVESA

The Landscape in the Winery

Artesanal Winemaking

In October, with the first cold spells, the grape harvest begins. A meticulous process, carried out with great care and attention to detail. Only the finest grapes are selected and harvested by hand. Inside the winery, as the days go by, the fruit ferments in small tanks. The wine then matures in barrels and large ceramic vessels.

A calm, unhurried process unfolds, guided by the rhythms of nature and shaped by the gestures and practices handed down through tradition.

The ultimate goal is to translate the wine and express all the nuances of its landscape of origin.

01.

Regional Wines

Sierra de Toloño

Regional Wine

Intense color with purple reflections. Notes of violet and Mediterranean undergrowth. Elegant, juicy and fresh palate, crispy red fruit, round tannins in a perfect harmony with natural acidity. Friendly and long finish, very pleasant.

Sierra de Toloño White

REGIONAL WINE

It expresses the character of the mountain viura, with the saline touch provided by the calcareous soil. The primary aromas of white flowers anticipate a complex and elegant depth, with subtle toasted and pastry notes. Silki, enveloping mouth, with high acidity and long-lasting finish.

Sierra de Toloño Rosado

REGIONAL WINE

Brilliant to the eye, on the nose it has intense notes of pomegranate, cranberry and orange peel. Tasty mouthfeel, with a characteristic memory of limestone mineral that gives it a fine and unique freshness.

Village Wines

La Dula Garnachas de Altura

Village Wine

Atlantic wine, sharp, with a very floral side. Surprising acidity and a friendly palate, very fresh. Vibrant expression that takes directly to the mountain landscape, where we feel a transition to the humid northern climate. Red Wine of the Year 2020 by Tim Atkin.

Raposo

Village Wine

Floral, vibrant, with notes of very fresh red fruits and discreet wood. Fresh mouth, of wild memories. Dense and long-lived. As a tribute to its origin, the name of the wine responds to the traditional nickname of the natives of Villabuena.

03.

Seriousness and concentration added to balanced acidity: the expression of old Rioja Alavesa Tempranillo in its plenitude. Pastry aromas, violet essences, spicy notes: ginger and white pepper. Rich in fruity aromatic range, with very soft oak notes.

A very floral and mineral wine. Notes of crunchy red fruit, as in the first moment of seasoning. Aromas of Mediterranean brushwood. It expresses the purest flavor of Grenache from the slopes of the Sierra de Toloño.
